FUNK.

JAZZ.

JAM.

This rollicking electric jazz, funk, jam quartet from Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood began as friends and neighbors, then expanded from that to become collaborators and band mates in 2014. “We really gravitated to the same type of challenging music, from John Scofield to Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock to Bill Withers,” said the group’s lead guitarist Chris Sherland.

“With hours of playing together in our rehearsal room, we’ve learned how to listen to each other, and what to listen for,” explained Marc Chusid, keyboardist. Bassist Juli Davidson noted “some people memorize koans and meditate, we memorize charts and listen.”

“Come hear us as we lay down some significant jams. We love playing live.” added the quartet’s rhythm master Jim Copeland on drums.
